(Swarthmore, PA- January 12, 2011) Amber Latsha recently started at The Arc of Delaware County as the new Advocate handling Adult Advocacy, Educational Advocacy and Social-Recreation Programs. The nonprofit is headquartered in Swarthmore.
Latsha’s previous work experience includes being a Life Sharing Coordinator at Pennsylvania Mentor in Philadelphia for almost five years. Also, Latsha was a Program Specialist and Instructor at LifePath in Sellersville, PA for over five years. She currently resides in Narberth. Latsha has a B.A. in Psychology from Bloomsburg University and is currently pursuing her Masters degree in Human Services at Capella University. She has been involved in a variety of volunteer organizations for a number of years including the Compeer program, Salvation Army, Special Olympics and Pals for Life. Latsha has also been on the Bucks County Assistive Technology Committee as well as the Communication Champions program serving Philadelphia.
